Project Blast is a non-profit social learning and leadership initiative designed specifically for high school and college students. Our team is deeply committed to helping young people successfully navigate life's many challenges.  

 

Project Blast provides a space for genuine connection and community.Through a variety of organizational partnerships, as well as, our own PB social initiatives, we make it positive, rewarding and convenient for teens to earn valuable service hours while gaining practical leadership experience for the college preparation process. Best of all, Project Blast offers live, as well as, virtual service events.

about mike looney

Mike created Everyday All-Stars in 2004 as a way to provide affordable, athletic development coaching to "everyday" kids. Mike and his coaches have literally taught hundreds of children how to become more athletic through unstructured, competitive play.

Project Blast is built on the five simple concepts of believe, learn, act, serve and teach. These principles, progressive in nature, help form the foundation of the entire PB social learning initiative. We call them our Power Five Principles and they are a definite game changer. They provide good orderly direction for just about every situation that life can throw at us. Mike and his team have created The Power Five Workshop in order to help young people implement these amazing ideas into their lives.
